“We’re seeing positive demand for the T700 and expect it to increase as customers purchase fuel-efficient, aerodynamic trucks as their business and the economy strengthens,” said Marilyn Santangelo, Kenworth assistant general manager for operations. Last month Kenworth received an order for 500 T700s from Stevens Transport in Dallas.

According to Kenworth, the T700 has the lowest aerodynamic drag of any Kenworth truck in company history and earned Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay program certification. The T700 also offers a spacious wide-cab and 75-inch Aerodyne sleeper with 8-foot cathedral ceiling.
