Corn is king at the 2007 Farm Progress Show

The Washington Post features an Associate Press report on the 2007 Farm Progress Show being held in Champaign, Illinois, where over 100,000 attendees are expected.

John Deere, Caterpillar, and Dow Agrosciences are among the 425 exhibitors attendance showing off new products and machinery.

The Ethanol boom has made corn the hot crop to talk about, with over 92.9 million acres planted this year. The biofuels boom has also extended to Soybeans as well.
