Pregnant woman rescued from heavy snow by heavy equipment

KUSA-TV features the story of a how heavy equipment saved the day when a snowstorm and a baby’s due date created a tough situation.

When heavy snow trapped a pregnant woman in her home in Fort Collins, Colorado, even the fire department needed some help to get her out.

Unable to evacuate her due to the snow drifts, rescuers called in a front loader to lift her to safety. The front bucket of the loader acted as a carrier to transport her.

She made it to the hospital and delivered the baby.
