Higher crop prices could boost equipment sales

A story on wisconsinagconnection.com reports that a boost in the price of corn, soybeans, and wheat could help increase farm equipment sales.

Fuel prices have been tough on farmers. Now with farm income rising, some farmers may decide this is the time to purchase new equipment.

One hot crop is corn, which has doubled in price since October.

What do you think? Does the farm equipment market look more promising? Are you planning to buy more farm equipment? Leave a comment and tell us what you think.

  1. I work for a tractor, farm equipment and tractor part dealership here in upstate NY. Corn is the main crop that is grown around here, and I can say this: May will be our most profitable month of sales in the history of this business.
